In accordance with the Law on the Establishment of District Courts of the Republic of Lithuania and Determination of their Territories of Operation, the Pakruojis Chamber of the Šiauliai District Court was closed on 1 January 2024. The territory of the Pakruojis Chamber of the Court was merged with the territory of the Joniškis Chamber of the Court, leaving only the Joniškis Chamber of Šiauliai District Court.

As of 1 January 2024, the Šiauliai District Court consisted of 5 chambers: the Joniškis Chamber, the Kelmė Chamber, the Radviliškis Chamber, the Raseiniai Chamber and the Šiauliai Chamber. The seat of the Court’s administration was the Šiauliai Chamber of Šiauliai District Court.

As of 1 January 2024, the number of judges at the Šiauliai Chamber of Šiauliai District Court has been reduced from 27 to 26.  In total, the Šiauliai District Court has 46 judges instead of the previous 47.
